Edward Carpenter – TQP Queer Book Club
31 May @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm WEST
This time the TQP Book Club will talk about Edward Carpenter and their works. Carpenter was an English utopian socialist, poet, philosopher, anthologist, an early activist for gay rights, prison reform and advocated vegetarianism.
About the TQP Queer Book Club
The TQP Queer Book Club is a lively and engaging discussion group, where we focus on queer and/or writers who focus on sustainability. We aim to focus more on the writer and their works, rather than on a specific work.
Everyone who attends is invited to bring their view of one of the works they have read to the group. If you haven’t read any of the works, but are interested in the writer, you are, of course, also welcome. Our aim is to create a space in which queer and sustainable writers are discussed and promoted, and we encourage curiosity and interest and love to inspire people to read writers that are the topic of the meeting.
Please go to the Community Forum to find out more about the event, talk will others taking part in the event, ask questions and/or give suggestions.
